On Saturday, April 14, 2012, Marquetta Bryan will speak to young attorneys that are participating in the Professional Development Academy (“The Academy”) of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA). The Academy is an intensive professional development school that prepares young attorneys (five years or less of practice) and law students for a successful career that includes leadership and service.

Dave Root is scheduled to present at Apportionment in a Post-Tort Reform World: Putting the Pieces Together, a CLE program hosted by the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association Education Committee.  The program, which is scheduled for March 22 from 3-5 pm, will examine the 2005 Tort Reform Act's impact on apportionment of fault in negligence cases.
