Experience Asha’s general litigation experience includes defending high profile clients and class action experience. Asha’s practice also includes the representation of various corporations, medical schools, and individuals in Georgia. In her representation of these entities she is often retained to appear before numerous State boards and agencies. In addition to having represented and defended numerous entities and individuals, Asha is frequently called upon to provide preventative counseling in the areas of risk management and compliance.
Over the course of her career, Asha has tried a number of cases and she has practiced in all of the Georgia state appellate courts and in the Northern District Court of Georgia. Prior to beginning practice, Asha was the regional law clerk for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and she obtained a Certificate of Contract Administration from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Additionally, she has extensive experience in all forms of alternative dispute resolution and assists clients with cost effective resolution of their legal disputes.
Outside the office, Asha is very active in her community. She is a founding member of the Atlanta Urban League Young Professionals, an auxiliary of the Urban League; a hearing officer for the Bureau of Taxicabs and Vehicles for Hire, a division of the Atlanta Police Department and the City of Atlanta, and she is a board member of the Atlanta Coordination Responsible Authority; having been appointed by Mayor Shirley Franklin. Asha was recognized as one of the 10 Outstanding Young People of Atlanta by the “Outstanding Atlanta” Organization.
