To ensure this diverse culture is perpetuated, we have created a committee consisting of Partners, Associates and Executives who meet regularly to lead and manage our Firm's goals and objectives.
Recruiting
We acknowledge that the outstanding people of Carlock Copeland are our greatest asset and we are committed to maintaining a diverse team based on age, race, gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity. In addition to traditional recruitment, we participate in local and regional minority job fairs, and actively recruit students from law schools with diverse populations within our community. Women and minority attorneys are instrumental in our recruitment process.
Attorney Development
We provide the following opportunities for our attorneys in an effort to create an environment where they can grow and expand their talents:
- Monthly and other regular educational seminars for Associates
- Internal mentoring
- Support for activism within community and legal organizations and associations
- Personal experience to develop and hone professional skills
- External seminars and conferences to aid professional development.
Community Involvement
